Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Co-teacher to join our team.
As a Co-teacher, you will work collaboratively with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students.
Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, implementing curriculum, and providing support to students.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities - Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Support students in their social, emotional, and academic development - Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges - Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher - Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space - Foster a love for learning through engaging educational experiences - Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education Requirements: - Previous experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development - Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and responsibilities We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
