We are currently looking for Nannies to provide care and supervision for our clients’ children in a comfortable, safe, and responsible manner.
You will be vital in caring for our clients’ children allowing them to take care of their business and professional obligations.
The role of a Nanny is to serve as an extra set of hands, eyes and ears for the parents.
The ideal nanny is loving, playful, active, and ready for adventure.
Our clients are looking for Nannies who are comfortable with children from infants through school-aged children, well-versed in the developmental stages of childhood, not afraid to get down on the ground to play, uses kind but firm parenting, and truly have a passion for children.
This perfect Nanny will be a great communicator, will work as a team with the parents, and is bubbly with a can-do attitude.
*Duties include:*
* Collaborate with the parents to ensure consistent care and routines.
* Provide attentive and compassionate care for the children's safety and well-being as the top priority.
* Create a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children.
* Engage in age-appropriate activities and play to promote developmental milestones.
* Spark curiosity and creativity through fun-filled activities and games.
* Engage in interactive play and educational activities to support cognitive and motor skill development.
* Encourage language development.
* Supervise outdoor play and ensuring safety at all times.
* Introduce age-appropriate arts and crafts activities for creative expression.
* Assist with study, homework and projects.
* Provide gentle guidance and positive reinforcement for behavior management.
* Monitor developmental milestones and communicating progress to parents.
* Assist with light household duties related to childcare.
* Meal preparation for the children.
* Follow established routines for feeding, napping, and playtime.
* Keep play areas clean and organized.
* Change diapers and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for infants (when applicable).
* Administering medication or following specific care instructions as needed under parental guidance.
*Requirements:*
* Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience, with a focus on infants and toddlers.
* Documented longevity in past positions for previous families.
* Passionate about safety and well-versed in child safety practices.
* CPR and First Aid certification for infants and children.
* Nursing license a huge plus.
* Willing to travel and work evenings and weekends.
* Must speak another language in addition to English.
* Experience with multiple young children.
* Ability to cook nutritious meals for children.
* Familiarity with the area.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both parents and children.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Valid passport and ability to travel.
* Ability to maintain a balance between being playful and chill, with good energy and a fun demeanor.
* Comfortable with a tag-team parenting approach.
* Commitment to long-term employment.
* Experience with newborns and infant.
* Must have flexible availability.
