Responsibilities: - Assist in the supervision and care of children in various settings such as daycare, classrooms, or after-school programs - Provide support to lead teachers or instructors in implementing educational and recreational activities - Help maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children - Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among children - Provide tutoring or academic support to students as needed - Assist with sports coaching or theater activities, fostering teamwork and creativity - Support children's development through engaging and age-appropriate activities - Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean and organized space Requirements: - Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare, classroom, or similar setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Ability to manage behavior effectively and promote positive discipline techniques - First aid certification is preferred but not required - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Understanding of Christian counseling principles is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
