This is an exciting opportunity to support key treasury initiatives focused on standardizing bank account management across the Group, identifying opportunities to enhance the control environment, act as the change agent where processes and behaviors can be improved - whilst overseeing day-to-day delivery and building strong relationships with the wider business and corporate teams.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage investment of all surplus funds.
Maintain and develop banking relationships.
Interface with credit rating agencies and others concerned with the group’s liquidity outlook.
Manage daily cash balance reconciliation across the international bank accounts with different currencies, banks and account holder entities.
Maintain the robust short, medium and long-term cash flow forecast.
Day-to-day treasury operations (cash management, intercompany funding, maintenance banking arrangements).
Cash management reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
Assist in the management of the Group’s foreign currency exposure (forecasting, reporting, trading, support the expansion into new markets and currencies).
Develop best-practice in working capital management.
Manage corporate credit card programs and relationships with the card acquirers.
Provide banking and treasury support to the accounting team including oversight of bank reconciliations.
Work with cross-functional teams to support corporate and Treasury-specific initiatives.
Develop procedures ensuring an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
Support budgeting and other accounting matters.
Supervise Treasury Managers and Analysts.
WFH permitted up to 2 days/week.
Quarterly trips to company offices in Florida, London and Malta and periodic trips to California, Ohio and Hamburg; additional trips may be required to facilitate the Group’s future acquisitions.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field.
Five (5) years of experience as Treasurer, Vice President, or a similar position managing treasury for an international company.
Proven record of strong balance sheet management and improving treasury management processes at a complex international organization with highly structured liquidity management requirements.
Thorough understanding of hedging, currency, investments, bank account management.
international fund flows, and the relationship between the balance sheet and direct cashflow.
Experience managing diverse international teams across multiple regions.
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills including preparation and analysis of Regulator and Board reports.
Advanced skills in accounting and risk reporting software, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
This position is paying $277,410 per annum.
