ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the timely billing of claims on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
Follow-up on collections of accounts receivable.
Prepare all entries for monthly close.
Prepare monthly AR schedule for the SVP of Finance.
Prepare other revenue related schedule for internal and external stakeholder.
Provides day-to-day management of staff performing revenue cycle management related functions.
Responsible for the achievement of Accounts receivable and Bad Debt reserve goals.
Implements procedures to minimize claim denial rate, bad debt, improves cash flow, bad debt reserve reduction, and ensures industry standard clean claim submission rate.
Enhance and standardizes dept.
work-flow processes throughout the revenue cycle to assist in achieving consistency in performance, including development of policy and procedures.
Ensures all policies, procedures and initiatives are handled in compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
Achieves budget objectives by analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Building relationships with program level staff and maintaining a liaison relationship to ensure maximum results on billing information.
Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Healthcare or other relevant field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience Minimum:
A minimum of 7 years progressive relevant experience, at least 3 years of which were in a Revenue Cycle Department and included supervisory responsibilities.
