*GRANTS BILLING SPECIALIST*
*Part-time Position (20 to 25 hours weekly)*
Wildcat is a transfer high school, serving the needs of disenfranchised youth who have either dropped out of school or who are at risk of dropping out of school.

The Grants Billing Specialist is responsible for maintaining and processing Grants billing in a timely and accurate manner.
Provides timely and accurate invoicing for all awarded grants.
Preparation and execution of monthly payment requests to government agencies.
Supports the CFOO with quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting for awarded grants.
Supports the Fiscal Department with general accounting.
*Qualification: *
* Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
* Two years of government grants and revenue billing experience.
* Professional understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR), and 2CFR Part 200.
* Possess strong analytical skills to meet strict reporting guidelines and due dates.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of individuals and levels of management.
* Intermediate skills in Excel, Work, and Google Suite.
* Experience in MIP accounting system preferred.
Familiar with government payment systems G6 and ASAP preferred.
* Experience with budgets and audit preparation preferred.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provides timely and accurate invoicing and accounting for all awarded grants and follow up with the collection of the grants receivables.
* Knowledge of all terms and conditions of each awarded contract.
* Assures the reporting requirements for all awarded grants and mandates are met.
* Generates and reviews grant billings report from the accounting software for completeness and accuracy.
* Ensures that eligible grant expenses are properly coded.
* Prepares various journal entries, including but not limited to, journal entries for account corrections, adjustments, and revenues.
* Maintains appropriate grant related financial records and mandated expenditure tracking.
* Works closely with the CFOO to ensure that billings are accurate and submitted timely.
* Prepares timely monthly billings according to contract requirements using financial detail from accounting records.
* Executes and prepare monthly payment requests and/or drawdown requests for all awarded grants.
* Maintains grant files with documentation in accordance with funding requirements.
* Responsible for grant closeout, submission of final reports and compiling information for audit inquiries.
* Keeps current on relevant grant information by attending conferences and trainings.
* Works with CFOO to verify new payroll allocations for employees based on the grant budgets
* Responsible for assisting management in the budgeting process.
* Responsible for the preparation of materials requested in connection with audits conducted both by Independent outside auditors.
* Maintains professional confidentiality.
* Assists with other accounting duties as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.
58 - $35.
72 per hour
