We are seeking a full-time Greeter (Customer Experience Specialist) with a contagious personality who is obsessed with providing the best customer service experience in our NYC locations!
Your Role:
Your role will assist the Bookkeeper with all aspects of financial operations.
Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to, accounts payable management, reconciliation, and data entry
About the Role:
· Assist Bookkeeper with banking and merchant inquiries
· Categorizing credit card expenses
· Accounts payable and QuickBooks entries
· Petty cash reconciliations
· Accounting Department duties including customer service and filing
· Assist the Human Resources Department
Qualifications:
· Detail oriented and fast paced style
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Being comfortable in a dynamic office environment
· Excel experience- intermediate/advanced level
· Bachelor’s degree is a plus
· QuickBooks experience is needed

* Multiple years of experience working with QuickBooks Desktop, including establishing a chart of accounts, A/P, A/R, COGS, Payroll, and all General Ledger postings and financial reporting for multiple clients on a weekly basis.
* Performing general accounts receivable functions including the preparation of customer reconciliations, receiving, and posting payments as well as the maintenance of customer files.
* Developing and adhering to strong internal control structure and procedures
* Draft recommendations for new and necessary controls for review by the Accounting Manager and Controller.
* Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
* Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining proper recording and reconciliation of items affecting payroll.
* Maintain up to date staff allocations to reconcile payroll.
* Review payroll reports for accuracy.
* Complete gross-to-gross payroll reconciliation for each pay period.
* Perform quarterly payroll reconciliations.
* Top notch organization skills with an attention to detail are a must as are critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions.
* The ability to work independently and collaborate with other team members.
* Solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles and accounting principles.
* Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
* The right candidate must be a good communicator, reliable, have good time management skills and be committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
* Must be a team player with a good work ethic and comfortable working in a small dynamic office setting and willing to take action on items beyond formal job responsibilities.
* Strong MS office skills focusing on Excel is a must.
* Eligibility to work in US without sponsorship.

Pay: $62,400.
