Tax Intern

Job Title: Entry-Level Tax Analyst - NYC - Wealth Management Role Description & Responsibilities: * Review and ensure 1099/1042-S Reporting is accurate * Perform IRS and State withholding reconciliation tasks * Update excel files for accurate reporting values * Ensure participant data is accurate * Attain appropriate approvals, document and confirm successful submissions per jurisdiction * Ensure that all tax filings and reporting for Corporate Clients and Shareworks by Brokerage, are issued accurately and timely * Review IRS filings and State filings are accurate Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
* Eagerness to learn and a passion for tax-related work.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
