DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Interpret regulatory rules, develop and document internal guidance, and analyze capital and liquidity risk implications of proposed transactions.
Maintain interpretations and associated internal policy guidance documents for the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), and Global Systemically Important Bank (GSIB) surcharge.
Bring key rule interpretations and guidance for US regulatory rules related to capital and liquidity through applicable governance processes and forums.
Work with business partners, risk and finance to identify and resolve emerging issues or questions related to policy coverage areas.
Provide oversight on implementation and reporting related to regulatory capital and liquidity, and ensure compliance with relevant rule requirements.
Support the maintenance of the firm’s Contingency Funding Plan as required by Regulation YY including development of liquidity escalation points and associated contingency actions to be taken or expected.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Capital and Liquidity Policy Specialist, FICC Product Controller, Liquidity Risk Analytics & Reporting Analyst or related occupation.
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Capital and Liquidity Policy Specialist, FICC Product Controller, Liquidity Risk Analytics & Reporting Analyst or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: accounting and liquidity, including GAAP accounting principles and drivers of liquidity sources and uses; regulation and rule making processes both internationally and in the US; regulatory capital and liquidity rules and associated regulatory reporting, including evolution of rules and requirements over time; financial products and associated accounting and risks to determine appropriate liquidity and capital implications; bank balance sheets, including funding and activities impacting liquidity and funding.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time.
Salary: $192,000.
