Real Estate Accountant

Company is a leading multi-family/residential management company with a focus on technology and providing an elevated living experience for our thousands of residents.
We provide comprehensive oversight of our properties including active property management, asset management, accounting, reporting and quality control of other facets of the company.
*About the job: *The Senior Accountant is responsible for all aspect accounting pertinent to the financial performance review of the portfolio.
General duties include the oversight of cash inflows and outflows and assisting the Management with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
*Responsibilities:* * Overseeing Bookkeeper responsible for rents receivables / account payables * Auditing tenant ledgers * Bank reconciliations * Financial statement processing * Assisting external CPA with tax return preparations * Filing RPIE's (Real Property Income and Expense) * Recording and tracking mortgage payments * Monitoring cash balances * Financial reporting for lenders, investors and upper management *Minimum Requirements:* * At leat 3 years experience in Real Estate Accounting * Ability to multi-task and meet deadline * Tech-savvy and ability to learn quickly * Attention to deal * Experience with AppFolio a plus * Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration a preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.
00 - $80,000.
