To achieve this, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate, Financial Due Diligence Review Analyst.
As a Financial Due Diligence Review Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the risk and compliance of our third parties by evaluating their internal practices and performance.
This individual is responsible for assessing the Bank’s third-party relationships to ensure their financial position(s), risk mitigants, etc.
, align with the Bank’s overall Strategic Plan, and the Bank’s Risk Appetite Statement.
In addition, this individual will perform a wide range of activities including; performing due diligence assessments on fourth-party vendors, the Bank’s third-party relationships, organizing information, analyzing historical results, making forecasts and projections, making recommendations, generating Excel models, presentations, and reports.
Responsibilities: Conducting due diligence reviews on the Bank’s third parties via evaluating and determining the financial risk(s) through detailed financial statement analysis, industry assessment, cash flow analysis and the ability to repay annual debt service Fully document the financial stability of third parties based on the outcome of the due diligence analysis Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess the impact of potential risks, or identified risks, with the Banks third parties.
Collaborate with the Bank’s Third-Party Governance & Oversight team to develop third-party remediation plans and evaluate remediation status(s) for compliance.
Collaborate with the Bank’s Third-Party Governance & Oversight team on the ongoing financial risk of existing third-party relationships through continuous financial monitoring activities enabling the timely identification of emerging financial risk so that appropriate actions can be taken to manage the risk, minimize losses and assign an accurate risk rating.
Perform oversight of the financial positions of the Bank’s third-party relationships which includes but is not limited to annual reviews, interim update memos to the Third-Party Oversight Committee, etc.
Report on third-party due diligence review status(s), identified conditions with third-party relationships, etc.
, to the relevant Bank Committee(s) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : In-depth knowledge of financial related industry risks Strong understanding of the financial statements analysis process Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements Ability to generate insights and construct solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of audit opinions and healthy professional skepticism Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to financial analyst Relevant Finance certifications (i.
e.
, FRM, CPA, etc.
) Salary : $100,000 - $110,000 / annum Base salary range does not include performance-based bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable.
