The Position: Heart to Heart is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join the Finance Team based out of the East Orange, NJ Headquarters.
Responsibilities: Financial Reporting · Reviewing daily transactions entered into QuickBooks by bookkeeping team · Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations · Posting weekly/biweekly payroll journal entries into QuickBooks · Responsible for preparing monthly G/L closing entries, including inter co acnts and accruals · Oversee company benefits to ensure compliance and accuracy · Prepare schedule for monthly bank loan reporting · Company budgets and projected vs actual reporting · Oversight of vendor payments and accounts payable to ensure accuracy · Participate in rolling out of new software and systems Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree · Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment · Proficient with MS Excel and QuickBooks · Strong communication skills; to communicate at all levels and across diverse cultures · Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and broad knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
· Ability to Prioritize/Multitask · Self-directed and proactive, able to work independently with broad guidelines · 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
