Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions in our accounting software.
* Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Provide administrative support to the team, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email communications.
* Assist with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or administrative assistant, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
