Seize the opportunity to join our Global Equities Prime Cash Reporting team, where you'll gain valuable insights into the business and products traded while contributing to the accurate liquidity submissions of the Line of Business.
As an Equities Prime Product Controller Associate in the Global Equities Prime Cash Reporting team you will provide support to the stakeholders including the trading desks to ensure that the P&L, balance sheet, and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately.
Opportunity to collaborate with international colleagues on a range of projects and production work Job responsibilities: Take ownership of daily P&L, daily risk and month-end close process for Equities Prime Cash desk Ensure the accuracy of revenue reporting and provide thoughtful analyses for senior management review Understanding and reporting on the drivers of product profitability, providing detail analysis and commentary on the financial performance of the desk Managing balance sheet with focus on Cost of Funding Coordinating and partnering with the various partner like Interest Control, Dividend Operation to ensure the accuracy of the manufactured dividend payment and accrual entries Monthly ledger close: breaks reconciliation, variance explain and detailed commentary and conduct monthly business review meeting with trading desk for NA regional P&L signoff Managing ad-hoc control issues and overseeing associated remediation plans Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 3+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area Experience doing P&L and month end close process Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
