The Bank of Nova Scotia seeks Associate, Corporate Banking in New York, NY to evaluate and analyze the financial needs of corporate clients, including the development of valuation models, pro-forma financial statements industry analysis, prepare marketing materials and presentations, support client pitches and deal execution efforts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing VBA and S&P Capital IQ Plugins to implement process improvements and streamline reports; preparing in depth industry analysis of Food & Beverage, Industrials, Packaging, Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services and Retail sectors; utilizing financial modelling techniques including 3 Statement, Acquisition Financing, De-leveraging models and interpreting those results to support debt capacity and rating analysis; and utilizing understanding of credit agreements and ISDA regulations to review, negotiate with external counsel, and support closure of transactions.
Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
The offered salary is between $135,000.
