As a Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls organization servicing the Consumer and Community Bank, you lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across both business and technical domains in the architecture function to execute critical initiatives of the function.
Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the ideation, adoption, and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances in cybersecurity.
As a Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture and Product Security Leader for the Consumer and Community Bank you will work proactively with your technology and business colleagues to identify and quantify security issues within their business and empower them to take decisive risk decisions at speed and scale.
You’re an expert security with a strong mix of technical and communication skills and are passionate about enabling safe and secure innovation.

Job responsibilities Function as the Sr.
Security Architect and leader that facilitates more advanced banking offerings by enabling products with innovative platform technology.
Cultivate security culture with your product technology and business colleagues.
Products that have the right security culture will strive to prioritize sustainable controls and driving real risk reduction outcomes.
Responsible for leading the architecture, implementation and support of new, cutting edge, cloud platforms for transforming business applications into scalable, elastic systems used to drive JP Morgan's transformation.
Embed threat modelling, solutions architecture, secure code review into product and application teams so they adopt our control products and create products that are secure from the start.
Know your product across its breadth and depth.
Be fluent in your product’s strategy and roadmap as well as its key investment programs.
Identify unfamiliar technology components, capabilities, and business concepts and be self-motivated to learn all about them, applying critical thinking to identify hidden issues along the way.
Be your product’s security thought leader.
Learn from your product and cybersecurity teams and share best practice in both directions.
Be recognized in your product as the clear point of escalation and subject matter expert for IT Risk and Cyber domains.
Act with urgency managing emerging issues.
Proactively monitor Key Risk Indicators to ensure issues are identified, quantified, communicated, and managed in a timely manner, including recommendations for resolution and identifying the root cause/key themes.
Partner and lead end-to-end across your product’s supply chain.
Work collaboratively with product, technology, and business colleagues on an on-going basis for business-as-usual audit and regulatory engagements, risk activities and project initiatives.
Work closely with Third Party Oversight teams to ensure effective technology risk management of vendors engaged by technology partners, with a focus on Cloud computing / emerging technologies.
Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus across competing objectives Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience Experience leading and managing teams of architects/engineers that design cybersecurity solutions operations on cloud-based platforms and applications 5+ years’ experience architecting, leading and driving adoption of security solutions and platforms into production Demonstrable experience in the area of managing/assessing technical risk across a broad range of architectures at a senior level, including hands on experience leading, designing and delivering technology solutions.
Proven hands-on experience and technical depth in one or more technology areas, including Cloud security Data security, Infrastructure security, Endpoint/Platform security, Security Analytics, Authentication/Identity Management, Mobile Security, or Application Security.
Experience conducting architecture/code reviews to find and evaluate application and infrastructure security risks Experience leading/modernizing a focused security team, developing controls for move into a public cloud environment: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud.
Technical expertise in Cloud computing (Public, Private, Hybrid), Microservices, CICD/SDLC, Machine Learning, Monolithic Services Decomposition, API technologies and designs.
Experience in one or more modern programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
