The anticipated salary range for this role is between $105,000.

The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire.
The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.

Role Description Provide analytical support for the execution and origination of equity capital markets to support our Japan corporate banking franchise, specifically ECM.
Role Objectives The job responsibilities are described herein: Work closely with the equity syndicate professionals through the execution of Japanese offerings.
Generate and maintain client target lists and assist with special ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
During an offering, interact with sales and sales trading for roadshow arrangements as well as feedback from meetings and color on indications of interest.
Share information with the senior team members in a timely manner.
For meeting arrangements provide details to corporate access team and prepare daily updates for Global Syndicate members.
Undertake analytics related to specific sectors and regions as well as stay abreast of current market conditions.
Utilize a variety of internal IT systems, including compliance, database tracking systems, etc.
for reporting offering information to internal stakeholders.
Provide weekly reports on ECM market conditions.
Build and maintain a strong working relationship with sales, sales traders and global equity syndicate colleagues.
Assist in the preparation of underwriting commitment documentation for US equity offerings.
Qualifications and Skills Experience in Japan equities and equity financing.
Ability to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information, analyze risk and identify mitigating factors.
Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner against strict deadlines.
Works well in a culturally diverse and team-oriented environment.
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and an interest in continuous learning.
Ability to organize thoughts and clearly articulate points and provide summaries and explanations of transactions, orally or in writing in a persuasive and organized manner to management or other internal departments.
