About the role:
The Collections Representative III will notify customers with delinquent accounts and attempt to secure payment.
Maintain a portion of accounts receivable in compliance with the company’s credit terms and guidelines.
Invoice submission in multiple portals.
Cash application back-up as required.
In this role, you will:
Contact customers daily to resolve past due accounts and to determine how to prevent future payment delays.
(Approximately 250-300 contacts per week.
)
Submit invoices in multiple portals and resolve rejections.
Promote good business relations with customers.
It would be a plus if you could also:
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and problems daily with orders, invoices, shipments and payments.
Supply documentation to customers as required for payment of invoices while promoting good business relations with customers.
Follow accounting procedures in adjusting customer accounts receivable balances.
Are you qualified?
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong customer service skills, including ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing required.
Basic knowledge of accounting required.
2-year degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with credit or collection preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and word processing preferred.
Salary Range language:
The salary range for this role is $53,000 – 58,000.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
This job is also eligible for incentive pay.
