Role Snapshot
In this pivotal role, you’ll manage the entire Accounts Payable process, from handling expense invoices to ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Your precision in reconciling the AP ledger and preparing insightful management reports will support the financial backbone of our client’s operations across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce platforms.
Your Contributions
Streamline invoice approvals, digital storage, and ERP system entries, including new vendor set-up.
Implement accurate expense coding to General Ledger accounts and prepare essential financial reports, ensuring the smooth operation of weekly payment cycles.
Facilitate timely vendor payments, adhering to terms and enhancing vendor relationships.
Process and reconcile employee credit card expenses via SAP Concur, aligning with policy compliance.
Engage in proactive reconciliation efforts, from credit card statements to A/P balance sheets, maintaining rigorous financial discipline.
Spearhead the preparation of 1099s, manage office and retail store supplies, and contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and undertake analytical projects that drive efficiency and innovation within the Accounts Payable domain.
Who We’re Looking For
A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, ready to dive deep into accounting challenges.
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, with a knack for learning and leveraging new accounting systems.
An excellent communicator capable of juggling multiple tasks while maintaining an eye for detail and accuracy.
Independent, yet a collaborative team player, eager to work in New York City and make a significant impact.
Experience with RLM and Concur is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
