The New York team is seeking an experienced Certified Financial Planner dedicated to providing holistic financial planning advice and fostering strong client relationships.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
As a Certified Financial Planner, you will focus on High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, collaborating closely with internal portfolio managers.
Key responsibilities include:
* *Relationship Management:* Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering long-term relationships and providing ongoing customer care.
* *Financial Plan Development:* Create comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' goals and circumstances, covering areas such as income tax planning, risk management, retirement, education, estate planning, and investment planning.
* *Client Service:* Deliver exceptional, consultative client service that exceeds expectations, preparing customized presentations and materials for individual client meetings.
* *Contribution to Company Initiatives:* Participate in company projects and initiatives as needed, occasionally traveling as required.
*Qualifications:*
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in comprehensive financial planning, with a focus on HNW and UHNW clients.
Experience with tax and/or insurance planning is desirable.
* CFP^® designation is required.
* Experience in presenting at or participating in client meetings.
* Strong interest and acumen in financial planning, with a bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
* Proficiency in financial planning software, preferably eMoney, and Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
