While based in our New York City office, you’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our global organization by overseeing various accounting functions and implementing effective financial controls, making a huge impact for our global brand.
What you’ll be doing As the Controller, you’ll be responsibility for the financial governance and control of Boldyn Networks.
You’ll oversee the efficient and effective operation of the key financial transaction processes, including Accounts Payable, Payroll Receivables and financial close.
It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with: Manage accounting operations including accounts payable, billing and collections, banking, and general ledger.
Work with the Financial Reporting and Analysis team on Management Reporting, Customer Reporting, Forecasting, Cash Flow, Internal Audit & Controls Drive working capital efficiencies, ensuring that the Free Cash Flow position of the business benefits from working capital improvements year on year.
Lead and improve the monthly financial close and consolidation process, ensuring that all income and expenses are properly accrued and reported, and undertaking the “first level” of monthly variance analysis to ensure accuracy in the monthly management reporting.
Responsible for maintaining and developing an efficient legal entity structure in respect of the existing businesses and ensuring that appropriate structures are created in respect of new business opportunities.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Provide the Board with regular updates on Transit Wireless tax positions, with recommendations as to how to effectively manage the tax affairs.
People Management Responsibilities: Facilitate and encourage regular communication within and between teams.
Provide regular, clear and specific feedback, actively managing employee performance issues.
Set objectives and monitor progress against them.
Ensure availability and capability of the team satisfies current and anticipated future business needs.
Establish and maintain safe systems, processes, practices and an environment where the wellbeing of yourself, staff, colleagues, contractors, visitors and the general public is put first, ensuring that all incidents and potential hazards are reported.

You might also have some of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting 10+ years of accounting and audit experience CPA qualified Experience of Accounting practices, standards, systems and processes Experience within public accounting firm and additional commercial industry experience Knowledge of accounting concepts and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced MS Excel, Accounting Software Systems and Oracle experience Demonstrate experience of developing and improving financial transaction processes Proven experience in preparation of complex, financial statements Proven management experience at a senior level Analytical & quantitative skills, attention to detail/accuracy, problem solving, solid reporting and presenting and working to deadlines About us At Boldyn Networks, we’re reimagining the future of interconnectivity.
