Our client is a licensed home service agency (LHCSA)
Our client is looking for a self-directed and experienced Controller to oversee all financial, accounting and human resources activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
Key areas within the human resources department will also be managed by the Controller, including policy and procedure compliance and ongoing maintenance of HR/Payroll practices.

" Job Responsibilities: · Monitor the financial performance of the company · Compile, analyze and financial reporting packages · Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures · Communicate financial metrics to senior management · Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments · Manage the payroll team and the overall preparation of payroll for personnel · Stay up to date on current HR trends · Work closely with CFO and CEO on company’s strategic plans, as well as for financial reporting purposes.
Qualifications: · Experienced in the home/health care filed preferred · Bachelor’s degree required (in accounting, finance, or a related field) · 5+ years of relevant Controller level experience · Strong knowledge of GAAP · Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks and ERP accounting system applications · Experience at large companies is a plus · Active CPA certification is a plus · Excellent interpersonal skills and great teamwork attitude · Ability to work with multiple team-members on various reports simultaneously · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Impeccable analytical and organizational skills · Self-motivated and self-directed · Ability to work closely with a senior management team Key Skills: · Excellent communication skills – written and verbal · Ability to multi-task and coordinate across multiple constituents both internal and external · Operate in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and constantly shifting priorities · Ability to get along with multiple personality types · Ability to master new tools and technologies quickly Key Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Monitor the financial performance of the company.
