Position Summary:
This Senior Vice President of CHIPS is responsible for driving strategy and product development for CHIPS, a systemically important high value payment system that settles approximately $1.
9 trillion daily.
The position is a key member of the Company’s product leadership team and must interface with senior bank executives, regulators, and peer organizations globally.
Given the prominence of this role and the systemic designation of CHIPS, the position requires superlative leadership and communication skills and a deep understanding of payments and the banking industry.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field.
MBA preferred.
• At least 15 years of executive product development or equivalent experience.
• In-depth and thorough knowledge of wholesale payment markets (domestic & international)
• Demonstrated understanding of bank payment products and customer positioning
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development of CHIPS products and services to enhance value for CHIPS participants and their end user customers.
• As a Systemically Important Financial Market Utility under Title VIII of the Dodd-Frank Act, CHIPS is subject to heightened supervisory oversight.
Proactively manage CHIPS product in context of regulatory expectations for the operational integrity of the CHIPS platform.
• Work closely with TCH Enterprise Risk Management and Legal leadership to ensure TCH products meet/exceed the highest expectations for performance, resiliency, and security.
• Working closely with the CHIPS Business Committee and TCH Customer Relationship Management & Sales, identify, assess, and deliver enhancements to the CHIPS product suite that add organizational, participant, and customer value.
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, on budget, and consistent with enterprise strategy.
• Collaborate with other TCH functions to ensure quality service delivery and enhance cross-product service opportunities.
• Represent CHIPS and TCH products at industry events and conferences.
• Engage with the PayCo Board and Committees regarding CHIPS product performance and service initiatives.
Physical demands and work environment: The working environment is generally favorable.
Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
The position will require two to three days onsite.
Additional travel to client meetings, conferences and other events will be required.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $200,000-$280,000.
Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location.
For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
