Associate - Investment Banking - M&A New York, United States of America Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements: Provides support to senior bankers.
Develop client presentation materials, including all background research, analysis and drafting.
Utilize strong technical skills to develop financial models, M&A valuation analyses, and other financial analyses.
Support senior M&A bankers throughout the entire execution process for M&A transactions.
Assist senior bankers on M&A related client coverage initiatives and strategic dialogue.
Work closely and help train Analysts and junior team members.
Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Education: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience, in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA (Preferred).
Work Experience: Experience in a M&A Group (with a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience or MBA/Master’s and 1+ years of experience).
Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products.
Experience in bulge bracket M&A team / leading M&A boutique.
Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with advanced financial modeling skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate and lead multiple tasks.
Team player and self-starter.
