Analyst - Financial Sponsors Infrastructure

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
Support senior bankers in origination activities including (but not limited to) portfolio analysis and gathering of market information
Involved in execution activities including basic responsibilities such as data gathering, background research, analysis of information and materials preparation as well as taking responsibility for preparing materials to support necessary internal committees and balance sheet approvals
Preparation of internal reports related to analysis of the existing portfolio, business plans, wallet analysis, capital rotation opportunities, fund cycle analysis,…
Familiarity with financial models and other financial analysis.
Performing detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables
Assist senior bankers on client coverage initiatives.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience, in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Work Experience:
Experience in infrastructure/energy related roles preferred but not mandatory
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products, with a preference to experience in infrastructure/energy
Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with advanced financial modeling skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with platforms such as capital IQ, pitchbook, inframation, dealogic would be appreciated
Ability to coordinate and lead multiple deal teams.
Team player and self starter.
