The business is highly dynamic given the rapid evolution of customer behavior, presenting both challenges in how we evolve to meet customer needs as well as opportunities in how we serve our customers more efficiently and effectively.
As the Chief of Staff for the The National Branch Business Management team, you will optimize business performance by helping to drive key initiatives.
Based in New York, the senior Business Management lead will support the CEO & Divisional Directors of National Branch as they build and manage the new business, with duties ranging from ad-hoc analysis to project management.
The highly visible role is dynamic and will vary and will be expected to support the business across all aspects of the business touching HR, finance, operations, sales strategy, product & marketing.
This individual will manage a team and will be required to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with senior management.
Job Responsibilities: Support the CEO of National Branch, in all aspects of the organization, ranging from management of day-to-day business to the execution of strategic initiatives Manage and develop a team of business management professionals to support the growing National Branch business, including the Divisional Directors Act as key contact for the National Branch team and act as a delegate for the head of Field Strategy & Execution, Divisional Directors, and CEO of National Branch Effectively manage the day-to-day business administration (chief of staff function), including partnering with leadership to prepare for business reviews, which includes drafting executive ready decks, meeting management, and change management Ensure efficient and productive meetings by effectively managing agendas, facilitating discussions, and organizing with the events team as needed – including weekly management meetings, large-scale offsites and recognition events Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis Support the strategic planning process (partnering with Finance) across various initiatives and priorities for the new client channel Project manage and quickly bring functions together to solve complex problems in a timely manner and create business recommendations in support of senior decision making Participate in collaborative initiatives with the field, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 6+ years of experience, preferably in the wealth management industry, or prior experience in a Business Management or COO role Detail-oriented, organized, and task-oriented Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with all levels of the organization Ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, management and colleagues across USWM Team player with a proven track record of managing and delivering high-profile priorities and projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment with multiple stakeholders Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables concurrently and execute within demanding deadlines Experience in effectively messaging priorities, initiatives and updates to senior management Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Superior judgment and discretion working with both confidential and sensitive information Strong knowledge and experience using PowerPoint and Excel is required Demonstrates a sense of urgency and comfortable multi-tasking many initiatives and requests in an environment where flexibility to meeting demands and tight deadlines are the norm Ability to effectively transform both quantitative and qualitative information into a compelling argument ABOUT US Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
