Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Department: Accounting-Finance Administration
Reports To: Manager, Payroll
Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager of Payroll, the Payroll Coordinator provides support with the payroll function in connection with weekly payroll processing for the employees of the Funds.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Processes the weekly and any off-cycle payrolls for the Funds employees in a timely and accurate manner.
Audits the accuracy of payroll amounts, deductions, and adjustments to ensure that all employees are paid correctly.
Ensures weekly timesheets from all departments are approved timely; reviews and resolves any timesheet errors prior to payroll processing.
Reviews weekly changes (new hires, employment status changes, pay rate changes, etc.
) made in ADP by Human Resources and ensures appropriate approvals and documentation are provided for the changes as well as for any payroll adjustments.
Updates employee scheduled deductions and tax jurisdiction setups in ADP when necessary.
Timely handling of garnishments, tax levies and child support orders.
Verifies and processes employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner and in accordance with IRS regulations and company policy.
Periodically reconciles payroll deductions of benefits such as FSA, Commuter Benefits, LTD, Voluntary Life, etc.
Maintains payroll records, reports, and related documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
Provides support to Human Resources to resolve any payroll-related issues/inquiries from employees.
Processes and confirms the weekly 401K contribution payments via V3 System.
Creates and processes monthly invoices in Dynamics for Commuter Benefits, Union Dues, Pension, Disability, ADP, etc.
Assist with year-end payroll activities.
Assists in the preparation of ad-hoc reports from ADP as requested.
Performs other relevant, related or pertinent work or duties as requested or assigned by management

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years processing payroll.
College degree preferred.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
Language Skills: Speak, read, write and understand English
