We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our Accounting and Finance team in our NYC office.
This person will play a key role in coordinating our vendor payment process and preparing monthly close journal
entries, account reconciliations and accruals.
The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be eager to learn, and possess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
Coordinate accounts payable process utilizing our AP automation software; communicate
With internal and external stakeholders, manage invoice workflow, review invoices for
Coding accuracy, process invoices for payment, and coordinate payment timing with the Accounting Manager
Prepare and record various journal entries including cash activity, accruals, and other month-end activity
Assist with month-end close, including posting journal entries, reconciliations of accounts and subledgers to the General Ledger
Complete various Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis to be used by management in monthly and quarterly financial statement reviews
Process monthly credit card statements and allocation of expenses
Assist with audit requests
Assist in preparation of annual 1099 filings.
Provide other ad hoc analysis as may be required by management
Other duties as assigned by management
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
0-3 years related work experience
Team player with great attitude, eager to learn, self-starter
Possess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong Excel skills
NetSuite experience a plus
Overtime expects the annual salary range for this role to be between $55k-60k.
Overtime also offers benefits and equity in the company.
