The F, P & A Analyst will play a critical role within the finance team, reporting to the Sr.
Controller/F, P & A Manager, with direct exposure to the CFO and senior management.
This position will offer experience in developing stand-alone analytics, financial reporting, and operations support including cost estimating & job cost analysis as well as other ad-hoc financial analysis to support all business units.
Responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst include:
Supporting the Financial Team leadership in understanding monthly and annual budgeting and reporting results & providing in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Evaluate Job cost estimates for both accuracy and analysis surrounding proper calculations of labor, materials, and various overheads that provide insight into both job costs, product/service costs, and where applicable customer and product line profitability.
Develop integrated three-statement financial Excel models that are capable of illustrative forecasting scenarios for senior leadership as appropriate.
Develop detailed weekly cash flow forecasts and scorecarding to support treasury functions
Serve as the resource for the operations teams, working hand in hand with each business unit leader across all business units in developing accurate and timely project job estimates to allow for competitive price quotes.
Work closely with other financial team members to ensure data quality and consistency
Requirements
Financial modeling skills with experience developing integrated three-statement budget models and cash flow models.
Demonstrated working knowledge of GAAP accounting fundamentals and overall finance fundamentals.
Demonstrated written and oral communications skills.
Ability to adjust communication style and message depending on the audience.
Ability to seamlessly work within varying work streams both with finance and inter departmentally as may be required.
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining efficiency.
Knowledge of NetSuite and/or Salesforce are viewed as a strong plus.
Bachelor of Science (BS) in accounting or finance or experiential equivalent is required.
Must have a working knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial reporting.
2-3 years of work experience in a financial analysis or similar role.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (i.
e.
integrated formula driven modeling, index matches, index match-matches, sumifs, pivot tables, nested formulas, etc.
)
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work independently as well as with others at all levels within the company.
Ability to communicate well internally to different audiences and cater message based on the audience’s role and skill set

The anticipated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
