Runwise is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, and tenacious Collections Specialist for our growing team.

Runwise's unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output.
As of today, Runwise's technology takes the equivalent of 100,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.
As a Collections Specialist at Runwise, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of real estate organizations from large owners to individual co-ops and condos.
Each customer and each building has unique needs, and you will work to strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships with customers and ensuring timely payments.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring customer aging and identifying accounts requiring attention
Contacting customers via phone and email to secure status updates, commitments on overdue payments, and to resolve open disputes
Independently manage assigned account list with consistent follow-ups and outreach to maintain up-to-date notes on collection activities
Report daily and weekly customer collection updates and progress to management
Communicating effectively both internally with cross-functional teams and externally with customers
Prioritizing accounts and individual efforts / strategies to meet monthly collection goals
Investigate billing errors, disputes, and follow up with customers for resolution.
Process customer payments through Runwise invoicing portal & reconcile account payments
Managing customer payment requirements through 3rd party vendor portals
You have:
2+ years collections experience
Advanced knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
Direct, articulate, and succinct communication style
Excellent problem-solving skills
Master multitasker and organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail
Persistent self-starter mentality who works well on a team
A level-head working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Salary range: $50,000-$55,000 based on experience level
