Job Description:
Our Investment Banking department is actively looking for a Senior Analyst for our New York office.
The candidate will join our dedicated M&A team and working closely with senior members across our industry groups, with opportunities to gain exposure to both sell side and buy side advisory for public and privately held companies.
Responsibilities:
Preparing client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, preparing management and board presentations and other materials for senior bankers as required
Transaction execution involving direct client interaction and communication
Managing client due diligence processes
Conducting extensive financial modeling and valuation
Assessing industry research and trends
Qualifications:
Experience in M&A investment banking
Strong Microsoft Excel skills essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
Strong work ethic and team player
Organized and proactive
Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg and MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred
Series 63, 79 licenses and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter
Compensation:
For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role.
This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $100,000.
