A kind family in Battery Park, NYC is searching for a full time nanny for their 3-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter starting in early April.
The scheduled hours are 8am-6pm with some flexibility for additional hours for date night/late work meetings.
Parents are generally working in the office and will work from the bedroom when working from home.
Seeking a happy nanny/teacher that enjoys adventures, outdoors and being a part of a network of nanny friends and other kids.
Please be proactive in engaging by reading books, arts and crafts, talking, playing, creating simple, healthy meals and assisting with all physical, mental, and emotional development needs.
This Fall the 3 year old will start Pre K-3 for much of the day.
Parents are open to educators, daycare teachers or other professionals that have experience with this age group of kids and are looking to make nanny life a career path for the coming years.
The ideal candidate is fluent in English, a good communicator/collaborator, self starter and reliable.
Family has a friendly retriever mixed dog in the home but no pet care is required.
Pay is $30 hourly for a guarantee of 50 hours weekly plus vacation, holidays and sick pay.
