Family in Montclair, NJ is looking for a long-term, live out nanny to start May or June 2024.
The family has a 3.
5 year-old girl and baby boy who will be 3 months old.
This family was with the same Nanny for the past three years (who is now looking to downshift into a part-time role), and is seeking someone who can be just like family.
They are great employers and have a profound respect for those caring for their children when they cannot.

The oldest is in school 8:30a-4p Monday through Friday and will be in a full day of camp (~9a-3p) for the majority of the summer.
Therefore, the primary day-to-day care will be focused on the baby; though the nanny will also be responsible for transporting the eldest to/from activities and taking care of her in the mornings and evenings.
A May/June start will enable the new nanny to acclimate and make a seamless transition into the family before Mom returns to work.
The family is looking for somebody who is down to earth, passionate about working with children, has experience with both newborns (i.
e.
routines, schedules, sleep training) and young children, and highly organized / able to help run a busy household with two working parents.
Beyond day-to-day childcare, other duties will include light housekeeping pertaining to the children, their areas, laundry, etc.
, driving children to and from activities / school, and preparing light meals and snacks as needed.
The candidate must be a driver and have a clear driving record and experience driving children, though the family will provide a car for the nanny's use while the children are in her care.
The parents work full-time, so the candidate must be flexible and help the family manage the household (including the occasional time when they are both traveling at once).
Schedule and competitive compensation: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm (50 hrs guaranteed per week) - $30-35 per hour (pre-tax), $200 health stipend, plus annual bonus and opportunity for annual raise.
