Substitute Playground Assistants Essential Duties The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following: The substitute playground assistant will work as part of a team supervising Junior School students from K- Grade 4 outside during the students' breaks.
Applicants must be physically able to work outside throughout the year.
Applicants must be knowledgeable about student behavior and characteristics.
They must have a nurturing demeanor and must be committed to ensuring student safety.
They must have good communication skills in order to effectively communicate with students, teachers and principals.
Previous experience working with students and knowledge of first aid is an asset.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred Fluency in at least one of the official UN foreign languages, desired Previous Work Experience / Childcare / Teaching Hours: After School: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Junior School: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This is an hourly position at $15 per hour.
