Infant Teacher

*Infant Teacher * *Location:* Jersey City, NJ *Hours: *Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm *Job Description*: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our Infant Care.
As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants aged 3mos to 18 mos.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and development of our youngest learners, fostering their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities: * Create a safe and loving environment for infants, promoting their overall well-being.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate infants' development in areas such as language, motor skills, sensory exploration, and social interactions.
* Provide individualized care and attention to meet the unique needs of each child.
* Establish positive and trusting relationships with parents, maintaining open and effective communication regarding their child's progress, daily routines, and any concerns.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper diapering, feeding, and sanitization procedures.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
* Attend professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in infant care and early childhood education.
Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
* Knowledge and understanding of infant development and appropriate caregiving practices.
* Passion for working with young children, demonstrating patience, warmth, and empathy.
* Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
* High school diploma or equivalent (required), Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
