Join our successful after school program as one of our engaging After School Teachers.
This unique, creative, and fun individual will be assigned to a group and will engage students while supporting the overall goals of the program.
Our after school program also turns into a summer camp program during those months, so there is an opportunity to join that team as well!
Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 1:00pm-7:00pm
Job Description
- Must be available 5 days a week during program hours.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of participants in the program, by providing appropriate supervision at all times.
-Plan and implement meaningful activities, lesson plans, and special events that are age-appropriate and exciting based in the areas of arts, STEM, character development, creative expression, community service, physical fitness, and/or nutrition
-Maintain accurate program documentation (attendance, sign in/out forms, behavior/incident/accident reports, as appropriate).
- Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings and special events as needed.
- Will be assigned to a school to pick up students from primary school
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with school-age children required
- Must be comfortable working with large groups of students in grades Pre-k4 -4th Grade (elementary school program)
- Must be able to work cooperatively with other staff members to ensure the program is running at a high quality.
- Will have the ability to structure program with engaging and fun activities including but not limited to, homework help, arts, and crafts, physical activities, team building, etc.
- Must have a friendly personality and comfortable communicating with parents of students.
Qualifications:
-MUST be able to work during after school hours from 1 pm-7 pm
-Successful work history of at least 2 years working with children.
-A Bachelors Degree (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education or another field related to child growth and development is required.

-A MANDATORY Extensive Background Check will be conducted before hiring.
-If hired, First Aid training, CPR, and other training will be required.
