*Title: Professional Nanny / Household Assistant with Meal Prep & Cooking Skills* *Location: *Upper East Side, Manhattan *Children: *2 children - 4 years old Boy and 6 years old Girl -- both in school all day *Employer / Parents: *Father works outside the home; Mother works 50% outside the home / 50% inside the home.
*START DATE: *ASAP - January 2024 with a one or two day working interview *Will Relocate: *MUST BE IN THE NYC AREA ALREADY and have worked in Manhattan previously.
*Type of Assignment / Schedule: *Full Time, Tuesday - Saturday is Preferred.

*Length of Assignment: *Long Term *Compensation: *Excellent gross hourly rate starting at $35 an hour based on the candidate's childcare experience, education & proficiency around in household work environments.
*Experience: *Minimum of 5+ years of Professional Nanny/HA experience in private homes; There will be cooking so Nanny/HA must be able to do healthy meal planning, prep, cooking and clean-up.
*Previous Nanny/Household Experience: *Family has excellent experience with previous their Nanny/HA who is only leaving b/ce she is joining her Husband as an Estate Manager in another state.
*Required Language(s): *Fluent in English, Spanish is a major plus *Overnights: *When traveling; however, Nanny/HA will still only work her regular schedule.
*Weekends: *When traveling; however, Nanny/HA will still only work her regular schedule.
*Travel: *Occasionally; Family does holiday out East in July and August in the Hamptons.
Nanny/HA would be expected to go with the family for the duration.
Can work the reg weekly schedule and go home on the weekends.

*Job Overview:* *Household Duties:* While the children are in school 5 1/2 hours a day, it is requested that the Nanny/HA help with the family + household duties.
Daily tidying, organizing, laundry, basic pet care, meal preparation, cooking and assisting with errands, grocery shopping, and household shopping, as needed.
Mother is very practical.

-grocery shopping -prepare dinner for children and family & snacks and lunch as needed for kids -meal plan for the week with Mother -keep house tidy (including sweeping, keeping surface dust free, vacuuming, tidying up, taking out the garbage, cleaning up the kitchen etc.
) -do laundry for household (children and parents) -iron, as needed (very limited) -clean bedsheets and towels weekly -run errands as needed – dry cleaner, pharmacy etc.
-wait for deliveries and/or maintenance people that need supervision (HVAC etc.
) -special projects as needed (i.
e.
organizing closets, toys etc.
) *Professional Nanny Duties:* Seeking a Nanny/HA that is smart, sharp, able to work with children, fun-loving, patient, experienced in relating to the children, set in a fun, creative environment, providing age-appropriate fun educational learning, outdoor exploring, teaching the children manners as the children progress in age, etiquette, and consistently instilling compassionate/kindness/love into the children! The candidate must be warm, compassionate, and eager to help as an extension of the parents.
Driving is preferred to help transport the children.
Swimming is preferred.
Act as a team player assisting the parents to kindly guide the children, assisting with educational focuses, and managing school work/school theme days/projects.
-children attend school all day: Son 8:30AM – 2:45PM / Daughter 8:15AM – 3PM - manage children and their schedules after school -children attend two different schools - pickup will be coordinated with the Mother and/or activities will be coordinated so it is feasible to pick up both children after school as needed.
