After-School Enrichment Instructor (PL)

Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided * Casual work attire * Growth opportunities Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects - Create and implement personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student - Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly - Help students develop effective study skills and strategies - Assist with homework assignments and test preparation - Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing a degree) - Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or related field preferred - Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter being taught - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Patience and the ability to work well with students of all ages and skill levels - Familiarity with educational resources and technology - Ability to educate and engage students in a positive learning environment Skills: - First aid: Ability to provide basic first aid if necessary during tutoring sessions - Behavior management: Ability to effectively manage student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment - Daycare: Experience working in a daycare setting or providing childcare services - Sports coaching: Experience coaching or participating in sports activities with children - Childhood development: Knowledge of child development stages and milestones - Early childhood education: Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices - Classroom management: Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting and maintain discipline - Tutoring: Experience providing academic support and instruction to students Please note that this is a general job description for a Tutor position.
