We are a young and dynamic team growing our start-up business and creating a community along the waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
This position is customer facing and candidates should have good communication skills.
We know not everyone knows about the waterfront, but a willingness to learn, to work well with others, coupled with office skills and some office experience is a great starting place.
This position is seasonal, but may be long term depending on the skill-set of the candidate.
*Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Responsible for greeting customers, taking reservations, and answering general inquiries while helping with back office administrative tasks.
* · Register and assign boats to dock slips, confirm reservations & memberships
* · Appropriately respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints and communicate information to management
* · Accurately collect and record payments
* · Accurately maintain customer records
* · Communicate pertinent customer information to designated departments
* · Help to preform various admin functions
* · Maintaining a professional and respectful work environment
