GMA Express is seeking highly motivated and experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to join our team.
As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations while ensuring the safety of the cargo and complying with all traffic regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, including tractor-trailer combination, to transport goods between locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while adhering to the company's policies and procedures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of all trips, including trip logs, fuel receipts, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of goods and to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, including routine checks and repairs.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, including speed limits, weight restrictions, and hours of service requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A driver's license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
Salary and Benefits:
- 30% of net profit after factoring fee
