The hair color Marketing Manager will lead all marketing and brand initiatives in line with established strategic corporate goals for the brand.
The Manager will lead the end-to-end execution of product launches on all assigned brands, including product development, claims validation and testing, as well as create sharp commercial plans in partnership with cross function team to drive growth in strategic retail channels.
Develop and ensure execution of strategic marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share in permanent hair color category; Identify and design business strategies to accomplish brand goals.
Collaborates with Education, Sales, R&I and Legal on refining new ideas and bringing concepts and innovations to market Initiates new product strategies, including the positioning, formulation, packaging, advertising, merchandising, and pricing for permanent hair color businesses, iNOA and Majirel.
Repositions existing brands to stimulate consumer demand Develop and ensure execution of strategic marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share; Identify and design business strategies to accomplish brand goals.
Oversee and manage the marketing budget and P&L category.
Represent categories for cross-functional strategic and update meetings to include new product development, print and package, education, brand updates, operations and presentations.
Direct and ensure accurate forecasting of the brand / business.
Develop strategic Promotional Calendar through collaborative effort with category leaders to drive sales and maintain effective brand image and innovation.
What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business related function required; MBA preferred.
3-5 years of brand management experience successfully guiding strategic marketing, branding, and product management within consumer goods businesses.
Exceptional financial acumen required including experience with budgeting and P&L management.
Effective communication skills, language skills a plus.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas of the business enabling the successful achievement of initiatives across all brand categories.
Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills.
Ability to travel domestically periodically (25%).
