Join our Luxe Finance Team as the Head of Finance for the Kiehl’s USA and Luxury Beauty Store business.

As Head of Finance for Kiehl’s USA & LBS you will be responsible for the P&L management of the brands.
This scope includes the financial oversight of the Wholesale and D2C businesses, the brand’s consumer marketing as well as both operating and capital expenses.
In this role, your business partnering will be critical to ensure Finance is embedded in the brand’s operations and to guide Kiehl’s & LBS long term development.
This includes: Financial planning Trends/Budgets: ensuring the most accurate forecasts are being integrated from both a sales and expenses perspective.
Overseeing & managing the team’s financial construction and coordinating between the numerous stakeholders involved.
3 yr planning: ensuring each brand has a medium-term plan for achieving its strategic objectives.
Financial modelling for long term growth: providing financial guidance and analysis on opportunities and risks to senior management.
Business partnering Participation in strategic meetings: presenting the financial implications of decisions to senior management as well as providing expert opinion on strategic topics.
This also entails giving advice and recommendations in the preparation of said meetings.
Creation of business strategy: working with the Brand leadership to ensure that the strategic decisions being made achieve the Brand’s business and financial goals.
Financial guidance to leadership team for decision making: Working with your peers on the brand leadership team to provide them with the financial expertise when they are preparing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Cost management oversight Month end review and analysis: ensure the team are managing the month end landing appropriately.
Analyzing and questioning gaps to the financial trend and the implications to the full year projections Forecasted spend vs budget: manage the forecasting spend vs the prior financial trend & ensuring that risks and opportunities are being appropriately managed.
Oversight of customer allowances, marketing expenses and Real Estate expenses: ensure proper internal controls are in place to govern the expenses within the Brand’s P&L.
Team development Create and develop a highly effective Finance team that embodies the business partnering spirit.
Continue to develop the team’s financial controls to ensure best in class financial management.
Cross-functional collaboration Work with local and regional functions to maximize efficiencies: partnering with the various central functions to build relationships and utilize the services they provide.
What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications: 10+ years’ experience in progressively challenging roles P&L Management Project management experience Strong systems knowledge Skills Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel and Word.
Financial reporting experience and use of COGNOS, SAP, or similar systems.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.
