*Position:* Licensed Esthetician (Independent Contractor)

*Compensation:* $30 per hour + 15% commission on personal clients
Forbidden Well, an innovative and client-focused spa, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Esthetician to join our team as an independent contractor.
Our spa is renowned for delivering exceptional skincare services and treatments, and we are looking for a professional who shares our passion for wellness and beauty.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide a wide range of facial treatments, including peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, nanoneedling, LED facials, and custom facials tailored to the client's needs.
* Consult with clients to assess their skincare needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
* Utilize and promote our primary line of Dermologica products, while also having the flexibility to introduce and use your own preferred products.
* Develop and offer custom treatments, bringing innovative and effective skincare solutions to our clients.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
* Build and maintain client relationships, including the attraction of your own clientele to enhance business growth (earning a 15% commission on services rendered to your clients).
* Participate in ongoing education and training provided by the spa, including free Dermologica product training, to ensure the highest level of service and knowledge in the industry.
*Requirements:*
* Valid esthetician license in the state of New York.
* Having your own Rolodex of clients that you can bring in
* Proven experience as an esthetician, preferably with a strong background in a spa setting.
* Ability to provide references from previous places of employment; references will be contacted.
* Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to listen to and understand client needs.
* Knowledge and experience working with Dermologica products are preferred, but not required.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Openness to continuous learning and applying new treatments and techniques.
