POSITION SUMMARY The Customer Supply Chain Lead + Demand Planning & IBP Leader is responsible for three key areas: Customer Supply Chain: Responsible for building strategic supply chain partnerships across Key Customers (Retail Partners) to integrate ways of working, enable enhanced go-to-market execution and advance joint business planning capabilities.
Collaborates with Key Customers and Key ELC Stakeholders – Brand General Managers (GM’s), Account Planning, Key Account Managers (KAM’s), Demand Planning, Commercial Supply Planning, Retail Replenishment, Customer Service, and Distribution & Logistics – to drive joint value creation.
The Customer Supply Chain lead will be a member of both the North America Leadership Team and the North America Supply Chain Leadership Team and will closely support and collaborate with the regional Brand GM’s, their Account Planning teams, KAM’s, Heads of regional Demand Planning, Commercial Supply Planning, Replenishment, and Distribution and Logistics; most of whom are at a VP or SVP level.
The Customer Supply Chain lead will develop Customer Supply Chain strategies, roadmaps and capabilities, aligned with both Commercial Region, as well as Regional and Global Supply Chain strategies, to deliver substantial joint value in cost, cash and revenue.
The role will develop collaborative relationships with Customers and be focused on significantly improving demand management, delivering outstanding customer service, optimizing instore availability, flawless execution of new launches and events, order optimization and fulfilment, and logistics.
In addition, the role will be the primary point of contact for Regional Brand and Key Account leadership teams to enable execution of new business models and commercial opportunities.
Demand Planning & IBP: Responsible for leading a team of Commercial Regional Demand Planners to generate US & Canada rolling 18-month forecasts across all brands and business types within the region.
Accountable for forecast accuracy and related metrics within region over a rolling 18-month horizon.
Ensures collaboration across Brand, Commercial, Finance, Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams within region.
Will lead all dimensions of PLAN synchronization and orchestration (Commercial, Demand, Supply, Marketing, Finance).
This leader will be a dedicated Integrated Business Planning (IBP) regional leader to help with the build out, and the long-term sustainability of ELC’s IBP, at both the region and global level.
This regional leader will be accountable for driving, evolving, and building out the IBP process and capabilities.
This is a crucial role in guaranteeing that ELC’s IBP process at the regional level is set up, is evolving, while also ensuring global IBP is being embedded and is sustainable.
From a “Run” standpoint this leader is responsible for driving an operating IBP which is robust, follows the principles of an Integrated Plan, is aligned cross-functionally, and supports ELC’s regional business strategy.
From a “Transform” standpoint this leader will continue to lead the development and implementation of regional processes, systems, and organizational development to build a robust IBP capability.
This position plays a critical role in both advising leadership as well as identifying, prioritizing, and delivering capabilities that support ELC's long term growth opportunities through regional opportunities, and aligning regions with global priorities.
JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities: Customer Supply Chain: • Lead all E2E Supply Chain initiatives with Key Customers (Retail Partners); work closely with internal stakeholders including Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, etc.

• Develop and deliver joint business plans and value creation with key customers and manage through regular meeting cadences including annual Supply Chain top-to-top meetings.
• Develop customer segmentation strategies aligned with the regional business strategy and create roadmaps by customer segment to deliver improvements in joint planning and operational excellence.
• Accountable for developing and achieving joint targets with customers in areas such as instore availability, customer service, demand management, operating cost reduction and inventory optimization, for basic business and new products, including returns, destructions and chargebacks.
• Track and manage Supply Chain performance across channel / customer to provide actionable insights to both Regional Brand and Supply Chain teams • Enable regional Supply Chain strategies (e.

, Distribution Network Transformation) through managing communication and engagement with customers to ensure transparency and smooth transitions/execution.
• Play an active role in the Regional IBP process, providing a customer view to ELC brands and functions.
• Build the organization and talent who will transform Customer Supply Chain Management at ELC.
• Share best practices and strategies in the Customer Supply Chain function with Global and Regional teams through Center of Excellence and Joint Value Creation forums.
Demand Planning: • Commercial Regional Demand Planners; oversee new, basic and promotional forecast development across the 18-month-rolling horizon for all brands / affiliates within the region • Support Commercial Region Demand Planners in getting alignment on Regional expectations with the Affiliates, Brands and Channels (e.

top-down forecast) • Ensure overall new, basic and promo plan completeness and quality with accountability for accuracy and related metrics across all horizons.
• Evaluate and validate region market trends and growth rates, statistical models and demand drivers to serve as inputs into the forecast • Determine adjustments to statistical models and demand drivers based on bottom-up affiliate plan and the top down brand plan for the region, in alignment with Regional and Brand finance and underlying business plans • Works with Commercial Regional Demand Planners to develop options to bridge the gap between demand forecast, feasible supply plans and financial targets for all brands and product categories; develops scenarios and presents options to Commercial Region GM • Support Commercial Teams in identifying acceptability and impact of launches, including projected launch volumes, offered by Global Brands • Responsible for affiliate operational demand planning excellence including oversight of performance results, establishment of targets and continuous improvement efforts • Responsible for ensuring transformational initiatives including systems deployments are designed, deployed and executed with excellence Integrated Business Planning (IBP):  Assists regional president in understanding holistic review of business  Leads regional IBP team including recruiting, training, and managing IBP resources  Ensures right inputs, completeness, accuracy, and quality of plans in IBP process and monthly IBP process (e.

category perspective  Guide DP-SP-LE alignment and help shape commercial discussions to align with DP-SP-LE signals  Partner with brand and affiliate GMs to shape conversations on demand shaping, inventory steering, and availability  Owns promo planning (completeness, quality, level loading) to ensure appropriate investments  Provide margin perspectives to support LE investments based on commercial insights  Appropriately challenges regional demand planning assumptions to be higher than LE but ensure constrained demand plan reflects supply sufficiency  Work with regional marketing and supply chain to ensure regional HTSM sufficiency - product, supply, and marketing sufficiency  Ensures development and implementation of tools, technology, and data to be adopted regionally  Develop and launch planning dashboards and tools that facilitate affiliate level planning for regional roll up  Support key capability reviews such as square and gravity (inter-regional perspectives)  Works with regional APEX PMO to ensure regional APEX progress is on track  Ensures best-practice adoption and drives continuous improvement through tools, technologies, and processes  Helps shape and stand-up global IBP process and provides process perspectives, ways of working, and IBP standards based on regional nuances  Ensure successful completion of IBP meetings and tight linkages between critical IBP decision forums  Educate and elevate the organizational understanding of the importance of IBP including key metrics for process  Stakeholder management and ensuring right support and ownership of the program and overcoming barriers to adoption  Ensure development and implementation of tools, technology, and data to be adopted regionally Qualifications • MBA or relevant post graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field; Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field (minimum) • 20+ years of experience in Beauty and/or FMCG environments; Deep knowledge of beauty industry and regional market trends • Strong understanding and experience with Customer Supply Chains • Demand & Supply Planning experience • Distribution & Logistics and Customer Service experience • Deep experience within Supply Chain and business planning processes (e.

Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
